Strategic Nonviolence Workshops

Peace and Social Concerns invites you to attend three workshops on Strategic Nonviolence led by Margaret Rowlette at New Garden Friends Meeting. All of the workshops are held on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm (note that the third is held two weeks after the first two). The times and dates are listed below:

·       June 2: How we relate to power and how to challenge it, including the four roles of social activism, the power triangle, pillars of support, and ways to use non-cooperation

·       June 9: How to create an effective campaign with the right demands, targets, and tactics

·       June 23: Lessons in resisting authoritarianism, including strategic nonviolence and building alliances
